Do you charge for a diagnosis?+
For most code-read situations the basic scan is free. Anything involving live data, tear-down, or electrical tracing has a fair flat rate, credited if you do the repair with us.
How long does a diagnosis take?+
Simple: 30 minutes. Intermittent or electrical: can take a few hours. We quote the time before starting.
Will the check engine light go off if I just disconnect the battery?+
Temporarily yes, but the code returns if the underlying problem isn't fixed. And emissions testing needs the readiness monitors to reset, which takes miles of driving.
