Wheel Alignment

Wheel Alignment in Detroit

Out of alignment means tires wear fast, fuel economy drops, and the car pulls. One alignment pays for itself in tire life.

Our alignment process

We put your vehicle on a precision rack, measure camber, caster, and toe on all four wheels, and adjust to manufacturer spec. You get a printed before-and-after report that shows the numbers.

If we find worn suspension parts that would throw alignment back off, we'll tell you. No point aligning a car with a blown tie rod end.

When to align

After any tire replacement. After hitting a bad pothole or a curb. Whenever the steering wheel is off-center. At the first sign of uneven tire wear. At suspension component replacement.

Detroit roads are rough. An alignment check once a year is not paranoid, it's smart.

Watch for these

Signs you need an alignment.

  • Steering wheel off-center when driving straight
  • Vehicle pulls left or right on level road
  • Inside or outside edges of tires wearing faster
  • Feathered or scalloped tire wear pattern
  • Steering feels loose or vague
  • You recently hit a pothole, curb, or bump
  • New tires, struts, or suspension parts installed

Common questions

Before you call.

How long does an alignment take?+

About 60 to 90 minutes.

Do I need an alignment with new tires?+

If your current wear pattern looks even and you have no pull, not always. If there is any uneven wear, yes, or the new tires will wear the same way.

How often should I get aligned?+

Once a year, after any pothole hit, or after suspension work.

Have us check your alignment. A print-out shows exactly where you stand.
